Before any work can be done, I need to decide on a story. I have decided to go with a 2 - 3 minute video rather than an interactive object because i think it would be easier to incorporate a story into. The main problem with finding a story, is finding one that I find interesting and short enough that I could fit into a couple of minutes. Here are a list of suggestions:
Fairy Tale/Nursery Rhyme
Comics
Interview with my band
I don't particularly like the fairy tale idea because it's already been done so many times and I don't really want to do another iteration of something like Little Red Riding Hood.
Comics are good because they are short and even if a story did go on a little too long, I could always edit the story myself and cut some things out. I would need to look more into this and find a comic with a story I'd like to use.
Interviewing my band would be quite easy. The story would be the band talking about how they're progressing with their music/recording/gigs etc.
It's a toss up between those last two options at the moment, so I'm going to do some work on both of those ideas and see which i prefer, unless I have a huge eureka moment and come up with something else entirely.
